How do you size a stack?
We distinguish the thermal ventilation design and the structural design of a chimney. For the thermo-ventilation design, several parameters come into play: the local and / or national regulations, the type of generator, the total power of the installation, the fuel (s) and location. All these parameters define height, diameter and ejection speed. The structural design is itself calculated according to regional climatic and seismic constraints.

What are the codes and standards to follow to build a proper chimney?
The Thermal and fluid dynamic design of our chimneys, flue sections and raw materials are compliant either to Chinese code (GB 50051-2013), European codes (EN 13084 or EN 13384) and American code (ASME STS) ensuring the best ‘material and section’ optimization for your project. And we design according GB50051-2013, specifying the requirements for resistance (strength, stability and fatigue) of steel chimneys; defining the life cycle and required maintenance of the chimney.
How to access the chimney?
